The build is pretty good, but the lid doesn't seal very well. As long as I don't shake it with water inside, it's pretty good. It holds hot water for about couple of hours.

Mainly events but just got word they want me to shoot the cover of their next magazine, a decathlete headed to the Olympics for gold. Wee hee!

Here are some shots from the events.

2012 Suitecase Party Fundraiser for the Children's hospital and others. Winner fly away for a weekend getaway to Napa, Vegas and other locations at the end of the event. It was a blast to shoot, and the drinks were amazing and all free!!! Shot the event with my 5D2 and 580EX II flash, bouncing the flash up off the ceiling, yeah, it actually bounced that high!!! I selected 15 images from the event in the link above.

Also been doing some backyard macro shooting.

For years I have been going to the Ritz camera store in Riverside, as it is the... I am sure you all have your favorite camera store and salesperson. For years I have been going to the Ritz camera store in Riverside, as it is the closest store to my father-in-law here in Sun City. For that time, the manager, Shadi Sayes, has been the best (and worst) sales person I have ever experienced for cameras. I only say worst in that he has cost me a lot of money:bow: over that time. He is very personable and we communicate even though I live in Washington. Great personality and a wealth of knowledge.

A month before I came down here for another visit, I found out he as left the Ritz and is now the manager of the Calumet in LA. If you are ever in that store, ask to see Shadi and tell him Aram sent you. I regret that my home away from home here in SoCal is so far and I most likely will not see him again. Unless I know I am going to buy something, the Calumet store is too far to drive just to look around and say "Hi". I have never been in a Calumet, but I remember ordering something from them back in the 70's when they were in the mid-west.
